Hey guys, I'm new to this forum but not to the car scene.
Im interested in building a Ke30/35 Rolla with a
12at in it. ( like the black one at the nats ).
Does anyone know how difficult this will be?
Can the Ke30 be engineered (leagally) in NSW.
And any other info that you guys might have.
Thanks
Alex

tunnel chopping, much custom mounting.. all the usual problems of putting a funny shaped motor into an old car designed for an inline 4.
KE30 weight? needs to be 960kg (2400/2.5) to be able to engineer it in NSW. this is the original tare weight of the vehicle, not the current weight.
better to call a good engineer and ask (peter L Smith comes to mind)

All the tunnels on KE30's are the same whether they are auto or manual. The only one's with different sized tunnels are the KE1x series.
