Mobile Phone - Service Messages

I download service messages form the net (colour wallpaper, ring tones) and than I go to recieve it from my phone and it says to check IP Address. Anyone know what to do? (Im wiht Telstra Pre-Paid Plus)

have you set up your phones wap and gprs settings? you have to punch them into the phone (ip addres, and all these other funky numbers and shit) and you also have to ring up and get them to enable it on your account. well thats how it works with optus. i imagine telstra would be similar, if not identical.

whats wrong with it?
i never used it to browse webpages, i used it to download stuff, like wallpapers, ringtones, videos, games etc. for free (aside from the optus charges for using wap) as opposed to these ripoff merchants like jamster and those other fuckers who charge 10 bux per picture/ringtone/whatever.
get them to set up your mms while you are on the phone to the right bitch. most people dont know that you cant send a picture message (mms) like a normal sms, you have to ring up to set it all up and shit. same for the person who recieving the mms. gay, huh?
