Hiring out a race track ??????

me and a friend want to have a straight line drag race, but we want to go about it the right way.
is there some australian motorsport body i could call that might have the phone number of the track i'm after ?????
I've never done anything like this before but i want to race my friend in a legal fashion with out risking endagering innocent people.

yes we have one down here but i can't find a phone number to call or anything like that.
so i have no idea how to get into contact with them.

tasmanian drag strip which led to dragway.com.au or somthing then there were links to diff drag strips all over oz
