I'm sure it can, those gold bits are hex nuts, does it make it any better? Why would u want to take the center bit out?

well theres real and fake and i think the real is worth alot more then the fake ( which the centerpiece doesnt come out ).

oh, then I hope mine's real.. haha..  the hex nuts are of different material & colour to the centre piece, it's got the words "Speed Star" sticking out in the rear of the rims, and it's got some Speed Star (SSR) stickers in the back, although I don't know how a fake one looks like...

Pathetic is the word!! Nah, only kidding... actually $300 aren't too bad, if you would pay $400 for the tyres, and I'll be happy with $700, but what would I do with the tyres if you buy the rims only?

But thats a good point you have there, sadly I can't part with $700 just at the moment. Come a few weeks and I get the 'engine buying' out of the way I'll see if I can. Hopefully you still have them.

the tyres should be around 9kg and the wheels about 7kg, so how much in terms of percentage from new to the tread depth gauge do you think the tyre is worn?

freight from sydney is usually cheaper, all the factories are in melb/adeliade so the trucks are usually heading back wit nothing on them! (friend works for DSE transporting) anyway it wont be as expensive as melb to syd!

well... from australia post calculator, 1 16kg parcel of 45x45x20cm will cost $19.10 postage, so 4 wheels will be about $80 of postage, and somehow find some kind of packaging...
