T18? Fri, 11 February 2005 02:10 Go to next message
Call me stupid but what is so orgasmic about a T18 rear end? Its the same as an eight-six's right? Do they have an LSD centre or are thay easier to find for them? How easy do they bolt up?
Cheers

you cannot put lsd in a stock sprinter idff

you can put ae86 lsd in a t-18 diff

you can bolt it right on

its one tenth the price of a jdm diff

Look in the for sale forum mate. T18's are not that common but they are around. The last two I have seen for sale were both less than $700 for a whole car. Shit! I dunno why people dont just buy one for a cool daily driver. . .

(I'm an Unashamed T18 fan) Cool

I'd buy a T18 over an AE86 any day - it's essentially the same car for a fraction of the price. Plus it's so ugly it's cool. Smile

Cool, i wanna put the t-18 diff and LSD centre in my sprinter
But how much does the sprinter LSD cost?
How much would it cost all up? Could i put it in?
I have a bit of experience with fixing stuff...Changed head, Carby, Escort Diff. Would i be able to put in the LSD centre?

Cheers Sorry for all the Q's Razz

sprinter lsd = $1000 new $500 used
all up = budget $1500
u could if u have the proper equipement, but an lsd is not something u want to do wrong
gl installing it if all u've done is change a head

Over rated? Dont just bag stuff without qualifying your opinion. What exactly do you mean by over rated? Over rated according to whose experience of this motor?

T-18 is slightly wider, not sure about mounting points though
