Hey, A cheap 1JZ has come my way and I am pulling out the 1GGTE and replacing it instead of putting all my new goodies on, I have for sale the following: A complete 3rd Gen 1GGTE with loom and computer and auto box $1000 *SOLD* Custom stainless steel manifold with T25 Flange Still Avaialbe PRICE DROP TO $400 *SOLD* R32 GTR T28's in EXCELLENT condition $1000 *SOLD* 1G Turbos have a tiny tiny tiny amount of shaft play i.e. less than 0.5mm Motor has new head gasket and blows no smoke and has no knocks at all from the bottom end Manifold is just pure sex Will sell in a package for around $2250 Pics are below: Manifold: [Updated on: Tue, 01 March 2005 02:36] [Report message to a moderator]

these T28's are MINT as. matt means the turbos off the 1G have slight shaft play. However this engine package ran fine before we pulled it out. [Report message to a moderator]

the setup can be run with an external gate as the pipe is there, but the turbos are internally gated, if i was going to do the setup i was going to weld up the internal gates and slap on a 50mm race gate.

to be honest i have never had the setup on my car, but if you compare the size of the exhaust housings on the CT12's and the T28's they are very close in size, which would indicate not much difference between the amount of lag of the CT12's and T28's. Obviously the T28's are going to be slightly laggier but the power gains would be huge compared to the extra amount of lag you are going to have to put up with. [Report message to a moderator]

They mount on about a 60* angle so the compressor housings dont foul on each other, and the inlet pipes can be run easily. The setup was never tested as the 1JZ came along before he could install it all. [Report message to a moderator]
