I got around to tuning a mates Hilux with 1GGTE on the dyno the other day and ended up with just over 200 RWKW on 21psi boost , He hasn't run the 1/4 mile yet but will let you's know when he does , It will be interesting to see what it pulls , anyway as long as he flogs some dunnydoors .

damn nice! That would be a total WEAPON!
So what mods have been done to get this? Obviously a different computer, and single turbo?
i need to tune mine something chronic. but i have no idea about how to do this with a modern engine! can anyone help? its just a totally standard 1GGTE, including standard ECU.
Mine seems to be running DAMN rich especially on idle as you can smell it and see black smoke bellowing outa the tail pipe.
Any ideas PLEASE?

black smoke from the 1g could also mean a blown turbo.

Trev
Thats real impressive!! I can't guess how he will get the power to the ground out at Palmyra!! Post up the times if you will, what are the times for your Celica at the moment??
PS. The Camry is no longer supercharged either, I swapped camps and have a Mits Lancer to get happening!
See ya on the streets of Mackay sometime

Heh, TT the mega cruiser. Damn, what a sight that would be if you lined it up at the quarter.

Could I get more info as well, and around how much he would have spent on the mods.
Cheers
