Tacho Boosters for 4AGZE, 1JZGTE and 7MGTE Tue, 29 October 2002 10:35 Go to next message
From time to time I've mentioned I was developing a TACHO BOOSTER to allow factory tacho's to be driven from the 12 volt tacho output of 4AGZE's, 1JZGTE's and 7MGTE's. Please note these boosters are now available and are suitable for any engine that outputs a low voltage signal that is required to drive a factory tacho.

As I'm pushing the limits just posting in this forum I will not discuss pricing, only the fact that they are now available. If anyone would like further details on the TACHO BOOSTERS please email me at sixworks@optusnet.com.au and I will send you an information sheet.

Ring NOW!

He he sorry guys....but good work on developing something the whole way through to this stage.

I think we've all mentioned on this forum - at least once - about businesses and their quality of work, its hard to be not allowed to post it just cause it's about yourself.........

When mentioning something that aids an enthusiast to complete a conversion project (as this is) and considering the amount of SUCESSFUL conversions you've done Grant, I think this should be encouraged rather that discouraged......

I'd also like to mention that I am in no way affiliated with either of these undersirables, and that I have recieved no compensation, monetary or otherwise to endorse this product. Wink

when you have an engine that develops REAL torque weight is not an issue .One day when the 3sgte grows up into a real engine this will all become apparent Very Happy Twisted Evil

why dont you follow me to Jenny Craig .....lucky YOU dont need to lose weight cause its not like you'd be able to keep UP Laughing Laughing Laughing

Your right though with me and the pram and the baby seat and a full tank of fuel the total weight is around 1660 KG

Have another burger Elvis.

No pram, no baby capsule. No nothin.

(Actually I can't fit a phuken thing in it)

But Cressida's are so fast? Oh that's right, they don't turn or stop.

So you must mean its a straight line to Jenny C's from yor place?

And y'no what stops real torque? That'd be real weight wouldn't it? With an arse that fat you could go and play seesaw with a Commodore wagon.

Happy Denial Luxobarge!

Laughing Hahahhahahahahahahahahahha Laughing

Cressida's are choice, but I cant see the tanks turning any good, not that my shitty fwd 20v seca does either. I guess I got lucky with the tacho issue, just hooked it up to the coil I believe.

Now advertisements are allowed, Premier Exhaust in Mayfield (new newcastle) Dominates and if you've got a 1jz cressida, go there and he'll fix it for you. Very Happy

Catchas,
Mat. (SEEKS!)

actually with the KYB all round, kings springs(lowered 2and1/2 inches) big sway bar front and rear .not to mention the entire Chaser front end .The Cressida handles as well as my mates full koni setup jzx70 Supra .

Plus 215/50/16 YOKAHAMAS All round .The Once was mini bus FAR outhandled the CURRENT model CLUBSPORT i raced the other night

Brakes are bigger items with carbon composite pads all round
the Cressida handles and stops as good as a tricked up jzx70 Supra

I'll bet if YOU blew a boosted GTR with a big FMIC and a 3.5 inch HKS exhaust amd HKS FCONV fitted . Through a few minor twistys youd care if he said "yeah but id beat you through a couple of decent corners" bahaaaaa

If real torque is stopped by real weight then why am i running 4.8 0-100 (EVERY TIME)

I'll run your oversized esky anywhere anytime .AND my wife can drive Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Boosted GTR blah blah.....whatever......I wasn't talking about racing one of those. In fact I don't think either of us owns one of those. I was talking about a skanky fat flabmobile in a blue sequinned jumpsuit.

That apparently has big tyres. Tops.

Did you elect your wife to drive cause she doesn't tip the scales as hard as you?

And jeez, current clubsports, thats nice, your right my little esky's never chopped one of those.........

Was the Clubsport driver on his way to Jenny C's too?

Or big mens world?

What night's your wife free?

Actually, I'd be keen for a run.

I've recently done an intercooler upgrade and have a new turbo ready to go. Since the intercooler I have had real problems with consistent runs. Had been waiting for a computer to come from NZ (a prototype from Gizzmo Electronics), was waiting about two months while the guys involved stuffed me around, then when it got here, it wasn't what I thought (and I only thought it was because they'd told me).......so I'm back to square one in terms of finding a computer. Pain in the arse. Looks like I'm heading for an Autronic......Link was in the running, but is falling behind.

From memroy......you've got a g-tech, right?

I also (and Grant might also be interested in this) have access to a Tyota Tech One, you interested?

NUP sold the g tech and bought a dyno plus .

GRAPH'S power and torque and 0-100 and the 0-100 times are more honest than a gtech .On a g tech the Cressida is about 2 tenths quicker .You can roll to about 10 KPH without it even sensing it .

But the dyno plus is DEAD acurate see sample below
i have a 4.801 but no scanner so its not on these yet!!
