My Corona Backfired.....

Hey all,
i was driving my rt118 corona this afternoon (Pussyfooting it in paddock) just driving really slow and i turned it off, then it wouldnt start so i referred to roll starting it, then when it went it backfired and it echoed for miles and it sounded like a rotary lol i walked around the back if it and it tore the muffler apart like a tin can lol 
im happy tho because now i can hear what its doing and it burbles and backfires all the time now lol, the neighbours will soon start complaining,

I looks like a mussel.
My dad did that on his 4x4 he started it up and it redlined i don't remember why but it was redlines for like 30 seconds then BOOM!!! i thought the motor had blown but it was just the muffler.
it was a round shaped one not the oval type so he got some galvaized tin, wraped it around it and twisted some fencing wire around it.
It stayed there for ages LOL !!
