I've been watching a few Jap racing videos lately and I have noticed that most of the time whey they work on their cars they wear gloves. At first I thought it was a little ghey, but now I think its a great idea.
So does anyone know where you can get these types of gloves they wear?

Bike shops usually sell un-moulded gloves, typically with gortex outer layer and kevlar inserts... these would be ideal, if a little excessive

I'm sure they'd also sell something like waht you're after as an underglove, or cheap alternative?

	the fabric ones?
basic gardening gloves are the same

most japan clean-room workshops use latex ones
hence why when you get engines from japan there are usually gloves shoved in the inlet holes and lines and shit

but i agree, saves getting grease under your chewed fingernails... lol

From what I can tell they just look like cotton gloves. No padding or protective strips.

Just whatever you do make sure they are water/oil resistant, or it's a waste of time. You'll end up covered in crap even through the gloves. The funky snap on ones are made of some cool material that doesn't let oil through, and they're slightly temperature resistant too, so you can get hot oil and it won't burn you (as much). A mate of mine has a pair - I don't know if they have several different types though.

orange citrus is pretty awesome, the best cleaners
are the abrasive paste type ones mentioned with some
soothing this and that in them. soap, washing powder,
dishwashing fluid are crap. iv seen it in those massive
drums too

washing powder is aweful, if it get5s into cuts they sting relaly bad for ages.

best simple hand cleaner is superchap degreaser sprayed onto hands, followed by normal soap or whatever to get the degreaser off

You didn't need to change your post. Indeed Loctite do have a hand cleaner, and as I said above, it's called Yuck Off. It works well, is citrus based with gritty pumice shit throughout it to help remove the gunk.

20ltrs is a bit more managable though... I've got a 20ltr at home with a tap on it, I just fill up one of those softwash bottles to make it a little less messy.
