Any one got some pics of this contrapion and any info on how these work, It sound like a good bit of engineering.

Hi,
As I understand it, all it is is a tiny notch cut into the bottom of the con-rod..
the oil pressure that lubricates the bearing forces some oil out thru this notch and it squirts on the bottom of the piston, cooling it.
Usually the oil pump is up-rated to deal with the extra loss of pressure.
From memory Bill Sherwood's site has a bit of info on this.

nah they're a little jet which lives in the oil galley with nozzles pointed towards the undersides of the pistons which shoot oil up into the underside of the piston to cool it.

They sure do.
I would suspect then that perhaps the notches in the con-rods are to help drain some of the oil out.
