Hey all,

Just wondering what the differences are between the MA70 and JZA70.
I always thought they had the same shell? Is the difference that the MA70 has the 7m and JZA70 has the 1JZ?

Englighten me! Very Happy

Surely this has already been covered before?

It depends what era MA70 - but in essence they are effectively the same other than the obvious - engine.

JZA70's were the only A70 Supra to get a Torsen rear end, and ran a 4.11 ratio & they ran a larger intercooler.

They were came standard with Recaro seats (front and rear, although the rear in the Twin Turbo R. Certain areas of the JZA70 chassis did not receive sound deadoning (where the front gaurds bolt onto the chassis is 1 area).

There is a few more differences but I'm busy @ work and just don't have time to put them up - do a search.

They did not run a Torsen centre.
