How do I stop new posts popping up in my email, especially "Members Rides"

Every time there's a new Members Ride post I get notified through my email. I've tried everything to stop this from happening, but they keep popping up on my email.
I would like to know how to stop it from happening again as the email is from work and I share it with my boss. Each morning there's at least 4 new posts.
Please help!

Go into your profile.
There's a tab called Subscriptions.
In there, you can unsubscribe from Members Rides.

You only get sent an email after someone makes a post after the last time you open that thread.
Don't open the thread, and you won't get emails.
Also, at the top of the thread, is the 'unsubscribe from topic' button/link.
I plan to hit that after making this post.
