Is the 3K a Renualt Engine?

Hey guys,
I was just wondering, one of my mates thinks that a 3K and probably the rest of the K series engines, he thinks that they were a Renualt engine out a of a Renualt 4 or some bullshit is this correct? And he also believes that the M series engines are Mercedes Benz motors? are these 2 myths true?

he sounds like a d0ng, if he thinks hes right get him to prove it.
Dont bother wasting your time let him do the leg work.
heres one for his credability, a certain nissan 6 cylinder is a direct copy of a mercedes engine.
perhaps he struggles to tell the difference between two japanese manufacturers, has he used the term jap crap before?

need I go on, a K bears as much resemblance to a renault motor as it does to lemon grass. Do you see any lemon grass?

People used to tell me my old 6M was a direct copy of the Jaguar DOHC sixes. Granted they looked fairly similar, except the Jag engine is larger than my whole car.  Nimrods.

My box of noodles that i had for tea tonight had lemon grass in it.. so yes i do see and definately taste the lemon grass i would say that hte 3K resembles a renault motor as it does to my supra being related to a bottle of after shave ?!?!?!?!?!? i dunno i had to think of somehting random!
