Microtech Info

I'm after some info on MT series microtech ecu's. I was wondering if anyone knew of a link with the specs and such. I've checked the microtech website and got wiring diagrams but they don't have the specs.
The reason for the query is because I have been offered a second hand one (I think it's an MT8 but I haven't seen it yet) and I want to know what I'm buying, if I go ahead with it.
If anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated .
Thanks
Brad
(I hope this is the right place for this thread)

The MT series cannot be reprogrammed anymore (ie, the setup it has on it, for cyls, ignition, sensors, pickups etc) is locked for life now.
Microtech stopped reprogramming them about a year ago.
The also require a handcontroller to be tuned, as they are not laptop compatible.
So you better be getting it real cheap (like 400max), and it better currently suit your motor, otherwise you will get bitten in the ass.

LT8 should have same wiring as LT8S
Requires external ignitors, either Bosch 124's or 008's are the easiest to use. (Carby or first EFI Camira used these).
Get a laptop cable and dongle from Microtech, download the software, and borrow a lappie.
I'm 90% sure they still mod the LT8 at the factory, but a phone call will solve that.
New looms are available too.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I still have to get the harness and see what there is of it .

Check it out properly, microtech dont like to provide new looms to replace cut ones. So check that its not stolen or anything like that.

I know the guy I'm buying it off so I know it is legit.
I emailed microtech last night and they said new looms are available from their factory for $150.
