Is a W56 as strong as a W55 and W58, and can it be used behind a 3TGTE with a W55 bellhousing and appropriate mounts? Is it an alloy case? and is it as long as a T50?

I've never even heard of a W56 box! What did it come from?
If its from the same family s the other boxes, its likely to be as strong as the W55 and W55, but the W58 is the strongest of the set of boxes from as far as I know.
It would fit with a W55 bellhousing and mounts, and it'd be a bit bigger than a T50 I'd imagine.

I'm just swapping my T50 for a supra 5spd (W55/7) at the moment and they are both the same length within a couple of millimetres.
