Josho's KE70... (56k killer)

Heres my KE70, picked it up about 1 year ago, with only 64,000km's on the clock, I was pretty happy with the price of $2300. Currently theres only a few mods. Some old school rims salvaged from my old mans workshop and some Pedders "Sports Ryder" springs. Theres a few sound bits in it, a Pioneer head unit and 6x9s, some unknown 4 inch'ers at the front and a 12 Clarion sub hooked to a 200w amp.
Planing on a 4A-GE conversion. Simple, cheap and puts out some usable power, I'm getting bored with the 4K-C and its awesome 40ish kWs! Only managed a 1.28 around Symmons Plains with it.
Now, for some pictures.

My custom air filter mod...

Racing pictures... I know your probably saying "Why race a virtually stock KE70?"... well, why not?

Oh and the "TRD" is electical tape... I was going to graffiti it all up with it for a laugh but I only did a couple of things... unlike my mate in his 120Y... Hah.

Hoping to check out a 4A-GE for sale thats been put into a KE30 sometime soon, also has a T50, so hopefully that works out.

you can pick them up cheap enough
nice and clean, your tail lights look very neat without much scum. Now you have to get rid of that brown interior.

Yeah, But I still have debts, and I don't want to just pick one up, I want to pick up one with a decent body, do a 4age swap, get some nice wheels and a respray, engineer it and re-reg it

Awesome stuff dude, show us some pictures!
Surely one of the spare gearboxes you have would bolt on?
I hope the engine conversion isn't too long away in the future... but I'm not holding my breath, finding time to do it is the problem.

Boot rust is pretty easy in these, just grab an old vcr or sommin, chop a long strip of metal out of it, bend it to fit in behind where u need it, (do a dodgy and bolt it in or) weld it in, then bog it up, check out my rust repair, site in sig, section 9.
Also I have some spare taillight covers, one is an aftermarket cover, but I tinted them so they match pretty well, can put up pic if ure interested. Never posted anything that big before, but im sure it could be managed for $15 + post. And lol about 1 month ago I had an entire complete 4kc and k50 in my written off car, gone now...

Some tint spray i got from autobarn for $16, basically you keep spraying coats on until you get it how dark you want it. I must warn you tinting lights isnt quite legal, but 99% of cops will let you off straight up and the other 0.98% after a demonstration that you can still see the lights when they light up will let u off too. Then theres the remaining 0.02% that will fine u no questions asked...
Anyways if your fooly interested, msn -> phrostbyte2{at}hotmail.com
Cheers,
Kev.

Hardly any progress so far on the car. Windows were tinted a few weeks ago by goonman86. Looks great... should get some pictures of it I guess.
