My new wheels (Screw 56k)
|
Tue, 15 February 2005 04:09
|
 |
Hey guys,
After much stuffing around to get these, I now have in my hot little hands a pair of 16x7.5" Buddy Club P1's in the seemingly discontinued 12mm offset
Now, when I can get hold of the 22mm offset ones for the front I'll be happy as, but for now...how cool are they?

Cheers,
Nathan

Nope, I would have loved to, but the car went to the spray painters before the wheels arrived.
Going to dummy fit them to CrUZsida's XX and his Cressida to check for clearance.

Right Back in the hole Allan. Serious for what? I've got a car that in its life will only see a racetrack a couple of times, will never put out much on the high side of 200rwkw's and will be driven on the road every day.

Haha, yeah, how about you put your MA70 into a ditch...again.
Regardless, I'm sure these wheels will look fine on this:

Ordered all four from one place, he told me two weeks later that he couldn't get the 22mm offset ones. Lots of dicking around, some distributors can get some offsets, some can get others, and Jeff Ash from C-Red was stuffing me around for ages and in the end never got back to me.
Found someone else, and finally got their details and ordered the 22mm offset ones for the front yesterday.
Haha, the fridge has a working driveline Thats all it needs But seriously, after the amount of overspray that managed to find it's way into the car the first time, I didn't trust the new interior when it went back for touch ups.

Haha, I removed it's eyes so it couldn't tell it was naked. I think it's sussing onto my clever plan because it's been complaining it's been a bit breezy.

-Not that I'm getting a set now - Selling the Celica now that I've joined the enemy and bought an R33 Skyline.
I'll be bringing in a set of these for the 'line from Japan once I've sold the Celica though:

Rear pair (the ones I have already) were $350 each, plus $44 shipping for the pair. Front pair coming from somewhere else, $360 each plus $50 shipping for the pair.

You're not alone man The reason the rears took 8 weeks is because they were custom order from Japan, none in the country. The fronts are taking 6 weeks, and thats a normal order!

I've told him to double check for me, because none of the other rims really will work. Cross your fingers for me
