Robert -
YOU DO NOT NEED TO GET ANY CUSTOM PLATES MADE UP. THEY BOLT STRAIGHT UP. we answered this for you on www.toyotacressida.com
any decent machine shop can make the locator rings..
you just need to tell them the "OD" (Outside Diameter) of the Hub (which is 60mm), and the "ID" Inside Diameter of the new rotor (which is 71.5mm for the BA Falcon)
So, what you end up with is a ring that has an ID of 60mm and an OD of 71.5mm
If you like, I am getting mine made up shortly, I will let you know the price and if you send me the $$$, I will get two extra made up...

Using a Holden disc (and presumably hub) is a bit retarded, it has a different stud pattern so your wheels won't fit any more.
The above is by far the quickest and easiest upgrade for a Cressida, and it has been proven to work because I've been driving around with this setup for nearly a month!

Before you blow a whole lot of cash on an upgrade (that it sounds like you'll never see the limits of), why don't you get your brakes checked out? When was the last time you bled your brakes? Is your master cylinder on the way out? Do you have a leak somewhere? Are you running El Cheapo Taiwanese $30 pads?

A very good point... if you still have the stock 7M-GE, the stock brakes are quite adequate. No point spending a whole pile of cash on huge brakes if you don't need that much stopping power.
Get your brakes checked out and make sure you're using decent pads and all will be well.

Go and see Hoppers Stoppers in Hoppers Crossing
Peter is a great bloke and should be able to work ut what you need, take him all the info in this thread and from your other cressida forums and he should be able to build up what you want.

Are the standard MX83 brake lines just plug and play with the BA / R33 setup?

Oh yeah, and the Commodore hubs aren't quite such an easy fit, MX83s use a different bearing...

That's true, in fact they are VERY different to earlier Toyota's (eg MA61), and there's no way the Commodore bearing will be compatible. You need a press to get the suckers out, which means changing the bearings isn't a backyard job for most of us.
