HELP 1uz-fe hilux

My dad has a 87 hilux (was diesel) that he has brought a celsior half cut to do an engine conversion. im trying to help him get some info to do this. the engine and gearbox are in the hole, and i know that you have to modify the sump and oil filter position, but the main thing i need to know is what engine mounts would be best to use, and adaptor plate mesurements if needed? also, i am chasing a wiring loom diagram for the 1uz-fe and associate auto gearbox. any other general hints and tips to get this smoothly done would be much appreciated.

Maybe you can use the standard diesel ones. Just make up a new engine to rubber mount out of steel for the 1UZ, leave the standard hilux mount alone which i assume is attached to the chassis rail?

im not sure what eng monts it has in it, it didn't have an engine in it when we got it. so use the rubber mounts fron the 1uz-fe, and make up plates so they fit them onto the standard hilux mounting points? what about gearbox mounts?

there is too many diff ways to do this
i think a celsior has the alloy mounts
if so u could weld on brackets to the hilux chassis and
use those big round engine mounts that have a stud out each end
theyre aftermarket but not sure where to buy
my cinversion i have a crown
i used hilux rubber mount then crown metal mount by far easiest to use
then just made plates from one to the other
just be careful of back of a/c compressor fouling mount
i bought a castlemaine rod shop sump and pickup cause i was runnin short on time

One quite useful rubber mount can be found in Ford Cortinas Mk3/4/5. Cheap and readily available.

I think it's better to leave the original hilux mount posts on the chassis dont go cutting and moving them it might make getting the car passed off a little harder.
So what i suggest you do is get a pair of the original hilux rubber mounts, bolt them to the post on the chassis rail then make 2 new brackets which run from the 1UZ's mount bolt holes to the hilux rubber mount. I dont know how to explain it any easier than this. This is how I did my 1JZ into Bundera cept the brakets I made were aluminium i suggest you just do it in steel.
