Real celica XX's had 2.0L engines with DOHC, 15" rims and mirrors closer to the driver... for these reasons, it only gets an average.

Oh yeh, RA60 celica rims are total and utter poo!!

Thats a 2800GT MA61 with a 5MGE (hence the 2800, or 2.8L).

How do I know? coz I fucking own one.

yeah, i like the mkII celica supra, as a matter of fact, i beleive im in love with it, but the mirrors and colour put me off, everything else is nice, and, theres a hachi in the bottom right!

Who says the GA61 is the only "real" Celica XX? The 2800GT was the fastest of the MkII's, and no doubt that's why it was included in the game.

Yeah, it does appear they've chosen the ugliest version of this possible. Definetly needs better rims, proper mirrors. The worst part of it is I can't turbocharge it and then go "yay, I have a copy of my car with a turbo 1G" Very Happy

Than an early XX for sure, mainly due to not having ghey mirrors and wheels though. Those add-on body parts are for those compensating for something.

And it is hte fucking best car in the game if not hte world... simply cause i own one... and yes those rims are GayMax i like the AusSpec rims but GT4 has done enough for Aus by including the SS, monaro, F6, XR8, and FPV GT... thats all so don't get too picky at least there is a 2800GT. but i assume u can change the colour... i doubt they will only have Brown or Tan... BUT it is a p-type...hence the flares.. not an L-type gay model!!

Nope, the Celica XX just had a big model range. They came with 1GEU's, 1GGEU's, 5MGEU's and MTEU's. None of them had flares, although the front guards are quite big which is why they are sometimes mistaken. The Supra was not a model name in Japan till the Mk3.

hmmm i see.. so they badged it as a Supra for the Australian market... I think CElica XX has a catchy ring to it.. but supra is known for being the "up-market" sports car of toyota and when badged as a Supra in Aus but really a celica... its a bit fucked up

It was badged as a Celica XX for the JDM market.
And a Celica Supra for the export market.

This hold true for both the MA45 and the MA61 (and G counterparts).

And no, the MTEU is just that, an MTEU.
2.0L version of the 5M, with a turbo.
