	| First Car - RA65 Celica | Fri, 18 February 2005 13:46 | | |
	|

I just got my first car. Im pretty happy with this for a first car. I paid $1900, and it has an Alarm/Immobiliser with keyless entry, new radiator and cd/mp3 player with alpine splits in the front. I think i got a fairly good price. What are your thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone had any links on things people have done with these cars? engine swaps etc. Its probably not something i can afford to do for ages but im interested in learning more.

	| nice work mate
i got my RA65 a week ago for $2.4k so 1.9k is a steal if it has no rust on it...

give it a nice wash and polish (yourself, if u goto BP the blower thing at the end brakes ya rear wiper if u have one EVEN IF U PUT A BAG ON IT from what i was told...)

anyway .. good luck with it mate .. give her a good oil change

	| Yeah an oil change and a really good wash are on the list of things to do.
I drove it home from work in the rain the other day
it was a lot more fun than my mums hyundai.
Now i just need some money so i can do some stuff to it.

	| hey i have an RA65 with a 1ggte conversion goin on right now so if you need parts let me know i have heaps of good original parts sitting around including the celica mags and 2s-c motor lol. and dont worry about trying to find a place to do your car up these celicas can have anything plug into them.
only prob is the mags i have i lowered mine 2 inch and put the supra mags on and now its hard as all shit to try and drift lol.
but dont underestimate the celica power because no commonwhore could keep up with me.
 cheers
