hey i would like to know if the 1990 corolla csx seca is a twincam? i have also been told it is a carbie i did not think the twincam corolla were carbie? and do they take a thrashing ie burnouts,snapping 2nds etc as my old ae82 got really fuked up

Yeah they're a twincam 4AFC carbie. Certainly not the most powerful engine, they do take a thrashing but if you treat 'em right they'll easily give you 300,000k's +
Burnouts/snapping 2nd's Depends on the condition of the engine I guess but in my two Secas I haven't a problem doing either, in fact i'd rate my first Seca better than the later model 4AFE. I never did get a run against a 'GE but it would've been interesting I reckon...

The syncho between 1st and 2nd (or is that 2 - 3, damn i've forgotten) is a bit of a weak link. If you can find a C52 g'box the syncho's are a little stronger.
