Does the base of the MX73 strut have the same pattern as RA2x? Or does it sit on different steering knuckles?

im not sure honestly, i had to get the stock TA22 knuckles redrilled to fit the strut. so are the knuckles of the '22 smaller than the RA?

Hmm.. not too sure mate.. but see ra28 and ae86 are the same and there are shitloads of RCA's around for the ae86's. I got mine from www.technotoytuning.com (was around 1/2 the price I could find them locally).

But if the bolt patter is different then suppose might be best finding an engineer shop to machine you up some.

I can measure my bolt spacing if you want.

Cheers
Joel

well why i am so confused is this...

- the struts i got were from an RA28
- the knuckles that came with the struts came off the RA28 aswell
- the knuckles for the TA22 were smaller and therefore were redrilled to suit the struts
- but the TA22 ball joints are the same as the RA28 from what i have heard
- yet the original knuckles for the struts were too big for TA22 ball joints (hence why i am using the TA22 knuckles)

now unfortuneatly i do not have verniers to make precise measurements which is why i am asking here Very Happy

once again like always i DO appreciate everyones help. now i have to get back and finish my surge setup, though it wont be complete today Confused

I'd say the ball joints are different.
