The clutch in my RA28 is slipping when it's on boost while I'm giving it a bootfull (3TGTE in it). The gearbox is a split case 5 speed with a Centerforce clutch.Apparently both without too many miles on them.
Can these be easily adjusted? I haven't stuck my head under to have a look yet (read, crippled, fat bloke) so I'd just like to know if it's an easy do or should I take it somewhere.
Cheers, Greg.

gearbox has to come out - bummer.
from experiences with RA23 g/box - car is way low to the ground, axle stands/jacks are a must, needs rope to lower rear of gearbox (thru shifter hole) and jack under rear of engine. tailshaft should be easy to remove (four bolts on rear uni, 2 bolts holding centre bearing to tunnel.
unless you have one or two helping persons - and can get under the car to support the gearbox as you pull it back and down - then take to a shop. expect to pay small fortune on labour costs for this.

wheres the bite point of the clutch? if its a fair way out of the pedal swing, you may just need to tighten the bugger

It is a fair way out like you suggest. Where abouts and what needs to be tightened?
