Such ideas rely on acceptance in their respective markets, (except Australia, where we don't get a choice Smile )
Still, don't despair! The uptake of such vehicles wont be super-quick here, owing to the large distances involved (in driving, I mean!) and the fact that our vehicle fleet is the second oldest in the (industrialised) world.
That means that most people wont trade their Kingswoods et al for another few years... Laughing

And the fact that hybrid vehicles get better fuel economy on the city cycle, which in our case includes a lot more highway driving.
