as per topic... 4 king springs for an 86...bought from truenosedan on these forums for $300... used for about 2000km... no rough driving... perfect cheap upgrade to make ur 86 handle

if no interest i'll just chop em and use em for fun Razz

1" down but when i put them in they were a bit lower than that...

dunno about the rate... perhaps truenosedan can help with that

2.3kg/mm afaik, pretty soft but much better than stock

2.7kg/mm or 150 pound per inch. Also I think it leaves about 30mm between the top of the tyre and the edge of the gaurd. Its normally more than an inch but just about all sprinters have sagged OEM springs.

Just for anyone's information, I have a set of Kings "low" springs on my hachi; part no's are KTFL-33 (front) & KTRL-34 (rear).

Out of interest I emailed Kings the other day to get spring rates for these, and they replied:
The rates are 2.75kg/f front & 3.4kg/f rear, to lower your vehicle approximately 30-35mm from factory std height. These coils are designed with an increase in spring rate of approximately 25%.


I assume these figures are kg/mm. Weird that the rear springs are stiffer than the front, eh?
