any1 done this conversion? any pointers?ect. befor you all go "why auto"
1. drag car so will have big stall and fully built.
and 2 cause i have limited use off my feet due to a bad accident.

aren't they just traumatics? the KE70 ones were..
they can be built up nicely, and there should be a lot of experience for them...
it goes something like "put 6 or 8cyl parts into the gearbox and make good"
as long as you can get an A series bellhousing for them (ie rwd AE71/AE86?) then you'll be laughing.

mm not really... the traumatic boxes i've seen have a sort of half bellhousing... the auto and manual bellhousings are completely different..

did the ae71 come out with a 4a motor that your refferring to that i have to get the auto bell housing off? so in theory if i get that in rwd trim. then it should bolt up with the 4agze???

Yes they're a traumatic. Only thing you'll have to do is change the flex plate from having six bolts into the crank to eight. Then it'll bolt together.
What you'll find harder is getting to traumatic to work well with the different vacuum of the 4AGZE over a 4AC. Should keep you busy for a little while
