lil help here	Wed, 23 February 2005 08:06

gidday, I am in the process of installing an autronic smc on to a 4agze in my mr2. I am moving over to a multi coil setup with sequential injection. obviously the ecu needs to know exactly where the engine is in its 720 degree cycle. For this I need 2 signals I believe. Does anybody have any information about this setup? Can a crank angle sensor from the twin coil 4agze be fitted? any help would be great!!! [Report message to a moderator]

u can use the factory distributor (cam angle sensor) should have 2 pickups in it... [Report message to a moderator]

The early ones have a dizzy like mine and the newer ones have a cam angle sensor. [Report message to a moderator]
