hey
got a mate of which my interest in ta22's has rubbed off on to...
and he's after one that's in top nick condition wise, that's body, paint, engine, interior the lot...
engine: anything in the 2t-g, 3t-gte or 4a-gze variations are preffered, basically anything with a decent bit of go in it.
interior:, he prefers the original
transmission: he much prefers an auto tranny, but i let him know that chances of that in a hotted up car are almost nil...
body and paint: must be rust and dent free, color doensnt matter, so long as it looks good and clean
depending on the condition of the car, he's willing to spend up pretty big, so if anyone has one they are selling, or thinking about selling or would like to get the cash it's worth for it
then send me some pics, details and a price bracket to this email address
chutz_pah@graffiti.net
and i'll get back to you
thanks
jamie

hi there
spoke to my mate about it, he's quite interested
was wondering?
is it auto or manual?
could you take pics of the interior?
and pics of the rust that you mention also?
what year is it?
how many k's has it done?
so he has an idea of how powerful it is, could you mention some cars, you have been able (or haven't been able) to take off... (he's not a motor head so simply saying 240hp, he wont understand)
um, could you sent pics to
chutz_pah@graffiti.net, (if you are unable to post them here?)
if he wants it, we'd have to travel from geelong, vic to where you are... he wants to know how much you are willing to come down on price?
thanks
jamie

5 speed manual t50 gear box
have dragged off an n/a silvia, 180sx, many other ta22's and 23's in same kind of power bracket.
This car doesnt bog down on take off, it pushes sideways and then launches like a rocket ( for a 1974 1600, anyway )and an n/a rx3. havent really draged many cars in it, oh and a wb v8 ute (think the guy didnt know how to drive or the 8 was tired ???)
The motor is out of a later model car, early to mid 80's at a guess
It has the efi head on it, giving it more compression and bigger valves. just re-tuned the carbies and she is going shmick.
interior is great! without any more words said. the dash crash pad would definitely not go with the car if i took less than 3g for it, as it is like new.
custom gauges, autotechnica timber grain steering wheel and gear knob, kenwood cd head unit + rear speakers
MORE PICS HERE:

also, some pics you will see on this site the car has clear indicators, these are no longer on the car, and as previously said, the car is not as shiney anymore do to bad batch of paint, and requires re-paint.
re pice again, if the price is to drop, five spoke jelly bean mags would be put on (still nice mags on this car), you cant find these superlites with this dish very easy if at all.
