Ke70 (4k-c) Issues

Well ive noticed last day or so my car has the occasional splatter in acceleration. Today driving home the car just sorta stopped accelerating, and only way i got home was full choke and let the gears move, as soon as i accelerated it almost stalled, unless i fully opened the throttle then it would rev normally, but once i backed off it splattered and spat (no smoke blowing outa exahsut that shouldnt have been)
Any ideas, i believe previous owner had recently changed the fuel pump, if that provides any help
Thanks
Craig

so it idles ok, and full throttle is kinda ok?
sounds exactly like the primary main fuel jet on the carby is blocked..

LOL, great advice there... what is wrong with your 'mates' carby? or does it just fall into the "rooted" category as opposed to the "non-rooted" one?
