Just a quickie,
Are the blocks of standard gen 1 and 2 3SGE the same as 3SGTE blocks ?? or do the turbo blocks have extra ribbing ??

The early 3SGE blocks dont have piston oil squirters. Also I think on the inlet side there is some extra ribbing that has been ground away on the 3SGTE blocks.

thanks just found the info i was after

"Block: There are two different blocks- turbo and non-turbo. The basic difference is that on the turbo block, the oil passages for the turbo unit is pre-plumbed and piston oil coolers are present"
