U won't pick up a trueno for $4,500 unless it was really rough.

Matt,
I may be able to find a buyer for you,but not for over $4500.
there just aren't enough people who will pay more than that for a sprinter. especially when yours is an oz spec, with only a twin cam swapped in. if you had top suspension, brakes, and some of the rare stuff fitted to it,you could likely get more...
if you'll be happy with $4500,let me know, and I'll put it around.

I think arouind $5,500 is a good price considering clean sprinters go for $3000-$4000 here in melb & a drive in drive out 4AGE conversion is $3,000(melb) l just this week sold mine, it was a very clean 160,000 4AC with 2" full exhaust and new lowered springs and 15" deep dishes, l got $4,500

Sprinters 4AG Sprinters will go for a decent price if they are clean. Im trying to save for one atm. Also a friend in japan sez the truenos are goin for about 12 grand over there, It just shows how much ppl want them.

you friend 'sez' right. I've seen plenty of Gt Apex AE86s advertised in magazines like drift paradise and option for twelve grand and above. the odd Ae85 trueno has been sneaking it's way to OZ in the last couple of years as well...for less than what Matt is asking for his oz-spec engine swapped car.
at the end of the day,you can charge what you can get for something. ask $10 grand for a sprinter if you like. but most people will see that, and the next thing that will go through their head is "but a 180sx/silvia/FC3S is only two grand more"...
I find it interesting that people are always after pics and such of the expensive cars, and never buy them. then whinge that "there are never any sprinters for sale". a week later,a cheap clean one comes up (like anabolic's halfway down the page), and there isn't a single interested post...
matt's car deserves to get snapped up,but I doubt any of you will actually do that. you'll just sit back and flame me for saying noone will buy it,and then will do just that.

umm ur the 2nd person to want to the rims
but no I want to keep it all together and no I don't know where to get them from cos they came with the car when I got it.
The reason im selling is because a gze sprinter has popped up that I wouldn't mind getting
I feel my car is a great little package and I don't really want to go taking the ge out to put a gze in, I feel like im going backwards if I do that.
I need $5,500 for my car plus what I have in bank to afford it. So if I don't get $5,500 ill just keep my baby, alot of time has gone into it and I love it, so I won't be dissapointed if I don't sell it cos ill just keep it hehe
