UPDATE: Newer pics now uploaded!!
1983 MX62 Cressida GL- White
5M-E (2.8L Inline 6) motor with 178,000km
Recently (as in only about a month and a half ago) underwent a FULL service including wheel bearing repack, complete transmission service, oil changes and fluid changes for everything, new oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, all that stuff too (of course!)... still have reciepts.
Engine is completely stock, except for cool-looking badass 0.8mm top gun spark plug leads
New front windscreen
Stock toyota tint
Alloy wheels (duh)
monroe shocks in the rear
Registration until the 16th of October, 2005
Minor rust
Blue velour interior, with velour and carpet trim on the doors. Interior is practically perfect, I've kept it as good as I can to the best of my ability. I've invested way too much in cleaning products. heh
I'm using mats in the car to protect the carpet front and rear.
Velour seats and door trim have NO marks whatsoever. They look brand spankin new still.
Retractable seat belts on the front, the old style non retractables on the rear.
Dash is in great condition, there is a small warp thats been there since i got it right up the back of the dash next to the windscreen, hardly noticeable. No cracks on the dash, and it's still all completely coloured (its a blue colour)... there's no fading of colour.
electric mirrors, electric power windows for front and rear, central locking, power steering, Air conditioning that doesn't work, two really extremely bright map lights.
also has an alarm/immobiliser thing that was in the car when I bought it. fairly rudimentary though, press the button and get out of the car. close door, when you open the door if you dont turn the ignition to acc within 10 seconds the alarm goes off... that's it (rather odd, isnt it?)
The car has a fancy aluminium TRD badge on the back, too.
For those that don't know, that adds around 45kw of power
oh and since "pics sell cars" i saw someone say, here's some pics.

some minor panel damage
front passenger quarter panel (click)
rear passenger quarter panel (click)
Currently needs a new headlight (glass was smashed, bulb still works)
Has brand new tyres that are just voer a week old.
edit: I almost forgot to say this!
The reason why I'm selling is to get a new car. WHICH I HAVE NOW GOT. (15/3/05) SO please someone buy this ASAP
Cheers guys
-James
UPDATE: BRAND NEW TYRES AS OF 5TH MARCH 2005...
UPDATE AGAIN: NEWER PICS FROM HERE -

car only looks weird on the wheels in some shots because i was parked near the boatramp near the waterfront and the "carpark" is really rocky
Also in some shots you may notice the tyres are very worn. I have gotten the new tyres since then and they have seen very little km since fitted. Much better than the tyres that are on the car in these photos.

Not quite as great as something like a corolla, but for a mix of freeway driving and street driving (its my daily driver to the train station for work, parked undercover) I used to get around 11-12L to 100km...
That was before the major service that I got done so it's probably better than that now. To be honest I haven't really been doing the odometer..fill... compare thing since I got the car serviced.
So yeah, it aint too bad... depends how you drive too - if you really drive hard it uses a lot of fuel, (i know this seems obvious, but yeah im warning you, when you do really floor it, you scratch your head and wonder where the petrol went... she guzzles when you drive fast!) and if you just drive normally and cruise around it's fine.
The car also has an economy meter that shows how many litres of fuel per 100km that you're currently using at the current speed/acceleration/rpm/whatever
Pretty handy, I just watch that and keep it around the 7-10L per 100km and when putting around then you get great economy.

But still open to offers! Feel free to ask any more questions you may have via PM or whatnot... and we'll see what we can do.

Okay, one last question. Was the timing belt changed in the last service?
BTW I'm extremely interested in this. Im desperate for a reliable daily driver that doesnt need the radiator filled up every day.

5M-E's have a timing chain, not a timing belt.
