I have a 3tgte and it doesnt have a Blow off valve, i have been told i will feel a big difference when changing gears as i will have alot more boost after the change?
My car runs about 10 psi and is adjustable to 17 psi i just wondering what bov would be suitable for me, also i wish to vent it back to avoid the noise.
thanks alot guys

A BOV will not make a big difference on gearshifts. In fact it will make no difference. The only real reason to get one is for increased reliability, although even that much is debated.
Just get the cheapest plumb-back BOV you can get your hands on. Anything more than that is 100% wank.

my freind used a standard plumb back bov from a mitsubishy and when he got over 7-8 psi it started chattering and realeasing air, Was told something about the back pressure from his inlet. so you think any bov will work???

I got a bosch plumb-back bov for my 3sgte (can't remember the part number though). From memory the trade price was under $50 and retail was a little under $60.
This link shows a part number for one, but not sure if it's the same as what I used. I can check during the week when I go out to work on my car though.
