corona/peg/hilux brake question....for the brake gurus

hi,
i went out the other day a got me 2 MX62 struts. when i got them home, i pulled the the rotor/hub off and started measuring.
although i havent tried fitting it, all holes/bolts seem to be the same pattern as my RA40 and should bolt straight in.
from what i gather, the celica disc is 266mm diameter, 12mm thick (i think) and the cressida MX62 disc (vented) has a diameter of 250 + or -2 and a thickness of 18mm
the interesting thing i found is that the cressida calliper mounting holes are 90mm apart, which is the same required for the hilux calliper to go on the xt130 strut.
the hilux calliper is made to take a 266mm x 20mm disc from that i have heard.
MY QUESTIONS;
1. will it be bad to use the hilux calliper on the cressida strut and use the cressida disc, even though; there will be 8mm of unused pad beacause of the slight diameter decrease and the 2mm thickness decrease???
2. wil it be okay if i make 1mm thick plates to go behind each of the pads to make up the 2mm difference???
3. will it reduce the stopping power significantly by having that 8mm of unused pad???
4. what is the PCD of the peugot 604 rotor mounting holes??? will it fit on the cressida hubs??

I'm not 100% sure but I think the MX62 strut has the stub axle on a differnt angle to the RA40. This will give you some camber problems if I am correct.
8mm of unused brake pad will pretty much defeat the point of the brake upgrade and possibly cause problems in time with pad not seating correctly.

I think the PCD of the 'hat' mounting holes on the Pug rotors is 115mm, but don't quote me. I only know for sure that it is different to the Corona hats.
