Has anyone got any info as to RTA requirement for distance from exhaust fuel and brake line must be? (NSW info preferable).
Would shielding be adequate?
How hot does the dump pipe get and a stock 1JZ?

I would love to know also as I have just been told to move mine. I was going to get dump pipe HPC coated and then exhaust wrapped and then also wrap the brake and fuel lines if they are too close.

umm, for heat shielding it basically says "adequately protected"
i would try and keep fuel and brake lines on the other side of the car from the exhaust, particularly from dump pipes etc...
shielding will help, but depends how far away it is.. the further the better

As oldcorollas said try to keep it as far away as possible, on the other side of the car if also possible, atleast you know your safe, then just make sure its in a well protected area and you should be set.
