De-emmissioning a 3TC Tue, 01 March 2005 08:26
Hey,

Im worken on de-emissioning a 3TC of mine, ive got the exhaust holes pluged and removed the air pump etc etc

Ive got some questions

1. The 2 vacume hoses that go to the vacume advance on the dizzy, what are they for? both go back to the carby but one has a VSV on it. could i just plumb 1 or the other or both into the same vacume source?

2. On the drivers side rear of the block there is a thing that has 3 vacume nipples off it that go to various things. Is that a vacume source for things going off the crank case vacume?

3. There is something that looks like a temp sensor in the manifold, what is that for?

4. The electronic choke on the carbie.. do i just put 12v to that while the motor is running?

Thats it for now, ill prolly find more questions later Wink

Thanks,
Phill
