most definitely cannot register ..
either take off the modified bits and replace with wtock items ... or pay some $$ to get it engineered !

well it depends on the mods. not all mods need to be engineered and you would need to speak to a local engineer to find out.
as for transfer, you have to cancel the NSW rego (and get money back for that ) and then re-rego in QLD
what to look out for simnply would be:
- vehicle height off the ground; make sure its legal height
- wheels; within legal size limits
- seats; if they are aftermarket make sure they are ADR approvaed and this needs engineering. if stock seats then no worries there.
- if roll cage fitted; requires engineer sign off
- fuel system mods; surge tank, etc. may require engineer need to check with them
- engine mods; anything you can see technically requires engineer but if your mechanic turns a blind eye then thats that. any internal mods no one can physically see so no one knows bout it

Shouldn't be too hard.
It'll need to pass an unregistered vehicle inspection in Qld.
You'll also need to organise a mod plate for it if needed.
Biggest thing to watch out for is the ride height. Unless Qld has changed its rules, legal height in NSW is 100mm, but Qld is 130mm.

thanks guys that sounds ok its only got a cooler, pod, bov, exhuast and cams that will have to get engineered, might have to change the wheels back to stock as its got 18's on it but the ride height isn't a issue.

That might pass without an engineering cert. I'd be giving it a try. The only issues there could be the wheels & pod filter.
