a TD04 is off a 1800 lancer GSR turbo.
Auto ZR-4's have a TD04 & VR-4's/EVO's have a TD05.
One would work OK on a 4a, someting like a T-28 off a S14 200sx would be better.

Yeah the TD04 is off the 4G93 GSR
TD04 and TD05 were available on the VR4/evolution range but the evos had a TD05H.
The TD04 is great for low rpm boost like 1800RPM!!!!!!!!
A mate of mine had a TD04 on his 13 second GSR, so it would work well on a 4A.

mmmmmmmmm........yeah it would probably be ok...
but theres not that much room in a aw11, how big is this turbo??
i'm thinking i will save up to buy a gt-25(ball/roller bearing?? spools at lower rpm, capable of 350hp i beleive), to replace the t-25 i have on now, at least that way, i dont have to change any of my pipe work, or anything for that matter (apart from the ecu, when i can afford it too)..

TD04's & TD05's are both quite compact turbos.
The TD04 would be about the same size as a T-25 and a TD05 is a little bigger.
Feral4mr2
Why don't you get a T-28?? the turbine housing from your T-25 will bolt on!! And the 0.64 turbine housing on the T-28 my not make it too laggy anyway (it has the same inlet & outlet flanges)

Why don't you just go mental and get a TD06 from an Evo 7...?
Seriously though, a TD05 or T28 in the right trim would prebably be a nice match to the 4A.

the problem with that is that the turbo spins backwards {counterclockwise}. also as is the turbo off the Evo 6
