im just wondering what a 360 degre thrust bearing means in the lines of turbo's?

does this make it a ball bearing turbo, as to help reduce lag and spool up quicker ?

the links i gave led to an aswer (if he bothered to look.

your link shows you are an ignorant buffoon and you are adding nothing to this thread.

thrust bearing turbo vs ball bearing turbo is no comparison. they work in different ways to support the turbo's core.
start by looking up some turbo manufacturer sites to understand the ins and outs.

if you give up now youll avoid the next set of questions from someone asking how they can fix thier roller bearing sleved turbo which will be totally unrelated to anything in this thread or the universe.

me? im somewhere in the middle

http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/0405tur_turbotec h/

that link tells you what a 360deg bearing does compared to older style 270deg bearings

good luck, and yes google.com is teh place to start your questions, then try howstuffworks.com

then when you know what your talking about come on here and SEARCH, then if you still cant find your answer, your probably not looking hard enuff, then you may start a thread

Trust me corolla boy my friend, there will be nary a time when I come asking you for help. Despite the fact that i think I'm suitably knowledgable myself anyway.

However, my point is thus.

As shown by "Hunty" who actually put a TEENY bit of thought his response.

Fine, put your links there.. But at least, like Hunty did, put a LITTLE bit of info with the link. A one liner. EG

See
Look, he's just put one line there that says what to look out for. Doesn't take a whole 15 paragraphs of his time, just one line.

A really really helpful link, with some idea of what to expect when you get there.. Quite a good response.

Instead you put but a link....

I mean really, doesn't it come down to, "If you haven't got something (nice) to say, don't say anything at all."?
