suspention for 86 need answer

i need suspension for my 86 somting hard and cheap for drifting cos im in a tight budget, i was told that holden suspension could be used if not is there another type of car. any suggestions.

this is the ducks nuts for working out the best suspension package to suit your AE86. make sure you read it all before choosing a base setup, then you can maybe ask what others have found with the setup you decide on.

Smaller sway bar on the front.
Ensure you have a spin turn control knob fitted
Arc weld your diff centre
Replace your tail lights with Altezza units
Cut your coil springs down 2 turns
Have a read down this page instead of across.

Awesome for some mate, scary for me. Bar the H line all of the above is 'advice' I has seen and/or been given by some AE86 owners to other AE86 owners.
Don't get me wrong, I like the car. Its the 'knowledge' and 'information' given by some owners and 'experts' with these cars that makes me want to stay off the road when these guys are on it.
Apologies for the high-jack and opening the cut springs and sway bars argument again.

small amount of animosity there.
no ae86 owner with any idea would recommend those mods unless they were taking the piss

Actually thats something wihch isnt in the FAQ.
S13 fronts fit with some slight mods, and HQ (i think) rears bolt in.
