ok im just after common problems with the 3sgte in a 1992 mr2.
so its a gen 2 (i think) 3sgte

im looking at it tommorrow so any help would be appreciated

apparently the bottom end/crank on these motors are weak?

ive got a GEN 2 3SGTE AFM in my mr2.

lately when on the motor way revving it around boost it would act like a fuel cut soon as you stomp the pedal.. i think this is due to electrical issues ie grounding. i've removed the fuses over night and works fine again.

apparently they have heating issues ive heard that they tend to overheat easilly
