My god it took them long enuff, the yanks have had a V6 hilux equivalent for over 10 years..
this also means there is a V6 in dedicated RWD format (5VZ-FE), so who wants to put one in a TA22??

im surprised that toyota have kept there market share, especially with some work utes being brought out by its competion. Like the rodeo those v6s go pretty hard (easy whell spinage with nothing in the back)

Proof that Toyota do SOME things arse about....
New V6 Hilux is a detuned Prado motor, Hilux = 124kw,291nm, whereas Prado = 134kw, 334nm (from memory).......but this is what i cant understand....Next years all new Prado gets a 4L V6, so why not wait another 3 months, and introduce the Prado and Hilux at the same time with the same motor???(cost is the only reason)....
But wait for this, the new 4L V6 has 183kw @ 5200rpm, and 390nm @ 3200rpm.......another thing done arse about, because it will then have 8kw more than the Cruiser (which is now only available with the 2UZFE, they fucking canned the 4.5L six, dickheads), but some 45nm less torque.
But Toyota is conjering up something special for the Landcruiser, to the tune of an all new V8 (close to 5.0L, around 210kw and whopping 500+nm torque).
Now, shove one of them in a TA22 and see how it goes!!!
