Hey guys my dads camry is starting to act up it has been drink fuel constantly this week and i'm not sure wats wrong with it. Usually the car can survive 2weeks on $60 worth of gas now it takes around $50 worth of petrol in a week. Any ideas on what could be wrong. I've check the fuel injectors and there seems to be nothing wrong.

Check you are getting good sparks, check the timing too. I know you said you checked the injectors, but maybe the cold start injector is stuck on.

Dude,
What year model Camry ?
4 or 6 cylinder ?
Spark plugs would be the 1st thing I would check, then maybe blocked Air Filter.
Cheers

It is also possible that there is a leak in your intake pipework... especially if the ECU uses an AFM to measure air.
The ECU will provide fuel for the amount of air which passes the AFM... now if some of this air is escaping before it gets to the engine your car will run rich and therefore burn more fuel than it needs.
Similarly if unmetered air is entering the engine the ECU will detect that the car is running lean (via the 02 sensor) and richen the mixture to keep the engine safe.

change ur fuel filter spark plugs air filter clean the throttle body and then see how it goes. changing the fuel filter made a huge differance on my camry when i swapped it for a new one if id done the plugs would have been even more of a differance too i reckon.
