When I had my A340 done by MV, it turned out to be a cressida box actually.
From memory, the major differences are (and virtually only I think-mechanically anyway-ecu control is a different beast obviously)
Large cavity accumulator pistons (the larger cavity takes longer to fill up with fluid and so slows/softens the changes a bit)-the supra ones are basically just a flat topped piston.
(the two are interchangeable)
Slightly smaller diameter clutch packs (i think that was it anyway), and again the relevant bits from a donor GTE box drop straight in.
I Mike didn't mention specifically if the smaller pack setup had less clutches-but if it does then the GTE has extra clutches AND more of them. Suffice to say the Poopra box has more area full stop.
That was pretty much it-When mike put it together he put the other bits in it and now it's same-same.
Input/output shafts, bearings, casing etc is all identical.
