Hey everyone
Katrina here from the Cooloola Car Club. Just wanted to let everyone know a bit of info on our motorkhanas. The next open motorkhana will be held on the 29th of May. The cost has risen to $25 per driver, due to our increased costs, insurance in particular. Positions are limited so we encourage you to pre-enter. Our last motorkhana filled up the week before, so we were unable to take any entries on the day. To arrange a paid pre-entry call me on 5483 6413 or 0422 302 633. We can only secure your positions if you send a cheque or money order with your entry.
As many would know there was a problem with the water on the day. Unfortunately, as we hire the skidpan, we had no control over this problem. We have been told it should be rectified by the Toyota Motorkhana on the 3rd of April.
Normal road rules apply on the pan, so your vehicle must be road-registered, and you must be able to provide proof. You must be a licenced driver, however a learner's permit will also suffice provided your passenger has held their open licence for 12 months.
