Hey
Does anyone know the difference in weight between and 18RGEU and a 4agze, and 4AGE? Also, whats the difference in acceleration?

Look to the tech docs page on this forum and read about the engine identification code.
Basically 1 is an old 2lt, the other 2 are modern 1.6lt 16 valvers with the GZE being supercharged.
All are twin cams. Now get looking a the tech page

Sorry man I missed that the question was actually asking for the weight difference. The 4A GE is a very compact light engine and the 18RG is a tractor motor (eclipsed in weight by Toyota's 4 cyl diesel line up).

Oh and I wouldn't call a 4A-GE "modern" any more, it's over 20 years old now!

18rg = twincam boat anchor.

I'd rather refer to it as a sports truck motor... i love my boat anchor, winds all the way out to 5000rpm
