see the pic of the 206 really early into the corner, facing me?
it almost killed me!!! gronholm stepped out the back end just after i took the pic, started sliding towards us! luckily at the last second he gained control and continued on his way, missing us by about 2m and covering us in gravel!
goes to show the skills of these guys

With very good reflexes and several hobbyist photography years behind the camera - yes, shots on 150kmh rally car are possible.
The very trouble I have with my Sony digital still camera is that as I press the shutter - the flipping gizmo will whirl and buzz for one full second before taking the shot. A rallycar will travel 45 to 50 meters in one second at 150kmh.
More expensive digi-cameras which will act more like SLR-cameras could take the shot under those conditions.
I ended up taking my digital marvel out only in slow corners. Depending on a model, one can have pretty fantastic modes in a camera. For example multi-exposure is one of them. Press shutter once, it'll take many pictures in one second.
My camera will take only 2 shots in multi mode, and those are about 1 second apart. Useless unless we're talking about really low speed corner (like 180º hairpin).
So this leads me into encouraging all you folks who have access to older 'film technology' camera. Take that to a rally race, it will not fail you. It'll go off at that instant as you press the shutter. Very good action shots this way.

I think you can get a cheap Digital SLR made by canon now, only about $6,000 then another $6,000 for the lens i heard that there is now a SLR Digital Camera with 22megapixel's
