320 km/h speedo faces ...	Mon, 07 March 2005 12:46

I have always wondered, what happens when you change your stock jap 180 km/h speedo face with a 320 km/h face ? What needs to be modified so that the speedo readings remain correct ? I am guessing the speedo gear will be supplied with the face ?? [Report message to a moderator]

Good point never thought about that. Im not sure you could have such a massive change just from changing the driven gearbox speedo gear, wouldnt you have to change a drive gear too? Anyone? [Report message to a moderator]

Speedo's are set to a particular amount of revs per km from the sender. I know in the JZA80 it's 637revs per KM. As long as you're running the right sender for your diff/gearbox you'll have no issues. [Report message to a moderator]
